LuminaCraft Showroom, Rotterdam
Our showroom in Rotterdam occupies the ground floor of a former warehouse, where the north light comes in low and stays late. We wanted a room that could carry that light without arguing with it. So the walls went pale grey, the floor stayed raw, and the rest we left to the lamps.
What we put in the room
The Cadence suspensions hang in a row above the long table, each one set a little lower than the last, so the light steps down the length of the space. The Petites wait on shallow shelves by the window, small enough that visitors lean in before they notice they have. Light Stick runs along the brick wall in one thin continuous line, marking the seam between old masonry and new plaster without covering either.
Further in, the Heirloom Objects and the Atelier Pieces stand on their own plinths: hand-worked surfaces that read one way at noon and another at six. The PostCrissi shades take hard afternoon daylight and return it soft. At the far end, Simile repeats a single form until the repetition itself becomes the pattern.
The room is rearranged every time a new collection arrives, and it was built to allow exactly that. Nothing here is finished.
