Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LuminaCraft does with the personal data you send us through this website: what we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it and how you can have it removed. Browsing the site itself leaves no record of you with us; the small amount of browser storage the site needs to work is described in our Cookie Policy.

What we collect

We collect personal data only when you send it to us. The contact form asks for your name, your telephone number, your email address, your country, the reason you are writing — commercial, customer care, partnership or other — your occupation, whether you are a private customer, a designer or architect, or a distributor or partner, and your message, up to 250 characters.

The forms that request a catalogue, a press pack or technical files ask for the same details plus your company name and the product or file your request refers to. Both forms record the two boxes you tick: your agreement to this policy, without which we cannot process the request, and, only if you choose to tick it, your agreement to receive marketing messages from us. Apart from these forms the website collects nothing about you, and we do not buy or import data about you from anyone else.

What we use it for

We use what you send for the reason you sent it. A contact form reaches the colleague who handles that kind of enquiry and is answered; a download request is checked and the files you asked for are sent to you. Your country and occupation tell us whether we are speaking with a private customer or with a trade partner, so that the reply carries the right information, prices and lead times. If you ticked the marketing box, we may write to you occasionally about new collections, projects and events; you can stop those messages at any moment, and stopping them changes nothing about the enquiry you already sent.

Who sees it

Your details stay with the LuminaCraft team. We do not sell, rent or share them with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not pass them to advertising or data-broker companies. The only outside party involved is the provider that hosts this website and runs the software behind it; it processes your data on our instructions, for no purpose of its own, and is bound to keep it secure. Data travels between your browser and our servers over an encrypted connection, and inside the team access is limited to the people who need it in order to answer you.

How long we keep it

An enquiry is kept for as long as the conversation needs it, and then as a record of what we told you, so that a colleague can pick the thread up later. Data kept for marketing stays until you withdraw your consent. We review what we hold from time to time and delete what no longer serves a purpose; nothing is kept indefinitely.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to one particular use — for example to marketing messages, while keeping the answer to your original question. Write to mail@example.com; if you write from an address we do not know, we may ask one question to confirm we are speaking to the right person before sending anything back. Where we are obliged to keep part of a record — for legal or accounting reasons — we will tell you plainly what and why, rather than simply refusing.

What this policy covers

It covers this website and the forms on it. It does not cover the pages you reach by following a link away from here — our social channels, a press article, a dealer’s own site — each of which has its own policy and its own data practices. If you write to a dealer or showroom listed under Stores instead of using our forms, that dealer handles your details under its own policy.

Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the new version appears on this page and replaces the old one. If a change ever touched something you have already sent us — a use of your data we had not asked you about — we would write to you first and ask.

Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go to the same place: mail@example.com. You can also reach us through the contact page, by telephone on 400-000-0000, or in writing at Tower 2, Wangjing SOHO, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
