Wink
A small gesture of approval
Wink rests on a solid base and rises as a cluster of thin sticks, each one tipped with a removable glass lens. The lenses gather the light and send it straight down, so the pool on the floor stays bright while the rods above it fade into the dark. Bend a stick and the pool follows.
We make it by hand in two versions: a brass base and structure with copper sticks, or nickel-plated metal with nickel-plated copper. The glass lenses lift out for cleaning, black wires run loose to a floor dimmer, and the dimmer remembers the last step you left it on. Five one-watt LEDs give 700 lumens at 2700K.
The name arrived at a trade fair. A visitor pointed at the lamp, which had no name yet, and repeated a word from her own language that meant perfect. We kept the gesture and dropped the word. A wink is enough.
