LuminaCraft Showroom and Design Studio
A showroom must do something few rooms are asked to do: hold light without hiding it. In our London showroom and design studio, completed in 2023, light is the first material of the space. The walls step back, the ceilings darken, and what remains is form, glow, and shadow drawn slowly across the floor.
A room built around the lamps
The latest creations stand at the centre of the hall, each one given room to breathe and to cast. Along the low shelves, the Petites work as they would at home: a small pool of direct light on a desk, a bedside, a reading chair. In the quiet alcove at the back, the Heirloom Objects are lit from within, so the metal reads as warmth rather than decoration.
The studio behind the showroom keeps the same discipline. Long tables, daylight through the windows, and one lamp switched on at a time. We test every finish under daylight and under its own glow before it ever leaves. A lamp that only behaves in a photograph never reaches the floor.
At dusk we switch them all on, and the room changes character. That is when it does what we built it for.
