Discover the new Meridian
Some forms don't need reinvention. They need listening. Meridian began as a question in our workshop in our first years: can a lamp step back until only light remains? The answer was a disc — a shallow circle of metal set close to the wall, hiding its source, throwing a soft halo outward. This May, the new Meridian arrives. The circle stays. The light changes.
What changed
We slimmed the profile to a few centimetres, so the disc reads almost as a drawing on the wall. Inside sits a new LED engine with a warmer dim, smooth down to the last visible step. The diffuser is refinished by hand, and the halo it returns is softer at the edge, broader through the middle. Meridian now comes in three sizes, and mounts on wall or ceiling — alone, or in quiet groups.
- Three diameters: 30, 45 and 60 cm
- Warm-dim LED, 2200–2700 K, flicker-free
- Brass or copper disc, finished by hand
- Wall or ceiling mounting, single or composed
Made as before
The engineering is new. The hands are not. Every disc is still raised, sanded and patinated one at a time, and the faint irregularities you catch at raking light are simply the workshop's signature. We kept what carries the essence of Meridian — the hidden source, the patient halo — and let go of the rest. Form follows light here. It always has.
The first new Meridians went onto our showroom walls in the opening week of May. Visitors keep stopping at the same corner, where three discs breathe together as they dim — large, middle, small, a slow eclipse in reverse. Orders are open now through our usual channels. Look at the circle. Then look at the wall.
