Sushi and More Restaurant
The restaurant sits on a quiet street in Bergamo, where the dining room is narrow and the counter does most of the talking. The team asked us for light that would stay low and warm — flattering to the food, gentle on the faces across the table, never loud enough to be noticed.
Woven light over the counter
We began with the Wireform spheres: hand-woven aluminium, hung in small clusters above the counter, each one holding a single point of light inside its open weave. They lay a patterned glow across the wood without a hard edge anywhere in it. Along the banquettes the Nacre pieces carry the same idea in a smaller key — thin disc shades that turn each lamp into a soft moon at eye level. On the shelves and at the pass, the PostCrissi forms fold light into the wall instead of down onto it, so the room keeps its depth after dark.
Outside, the courtyard answers to a different weather. The Sypha Outdoor stems stand along the paving, diffusers low and steady, giving the terrace the same warm register as the room within. The step through the door carries the light with you.
Nothing here is bright. Everything is where it needs to be.
