Residential villa, Valencia
Light for a white villa near the sea
This residential villa outside Valencia, completed in 2024, lives by the Mediterranean sun. Daylight floods the white walls and the terraces from morning until late afternoon. Our work began at dusk: to give the house a second, quieter light, one that holds the calm of the architecture instead of competing with it.
Inside, we moved in small gestures of colour. The Colore lamps keep the living spaces vivid without noise — a primary accent here, an articulated arm aimed exactly where the light was wanted. Wireform pieces trace fine metal lines against the plaster, drawing more than they light. In the dining room the Golden Lights lay down a warm, hand-finished glow, and the table sits inside it like an island of evening.
The outside asked for another register. A Stella Moon hangs low over the terrace, diffuse as its namesake, while the Sypha Outdoor fixtures follow the garden path and keep the light close to the ground, so the night around the house stays open.
What remains is a house that changes register at sunset. Strong light by day. Soft form by night. Nothing added that the space did not ask for.
