V.
Reduced to a single stroke
V. is what remains when we take a wall lamp apart and put back nothing that is not necessary. A varnished metal shade angles away from a matching base, held by one small brass pivot that carries the whole gesture. The emission is direct: light leaves the source and travels in a single unhurried line down the wall, marking the surface the way a pen marks paper.
We make it in black or in white, and both versions keep the same brass joint, turned and finished by hand in our workshop. The shade is spun, sanded and then varnished, so the colour sits inside the metal rather than on top of it. Within it a low-voltage COB LED burns at a warm 2700K and dims slowly towards nothing.
The name is the shape. The shape is the light.
