Nine arms, set by hand

Nine mouldable arms leave a single satin base and hold whatever line you give them. Turn one toward the table, sweep another back toward the wall, and the ceiling returns nine small circles of direct light. You set the shape, and you can unset it in a minute. The lamp keeps a memory of the room it hangs in.

We work the arms in brass or nickel over a flexible core, and we finish the base in satin metal so that reflections stay soft. Each arm is set, weighted and checked by hand in our workshop, because a lamp that asks to be touched has to hold up to it. Nine E14 sources give warm 2700 K light, aimed exactly where you left them.

Hang it low above a long table or flat against a plaster ceiling. Bend it once, then bend it again next winter. Light you can answer stays interesting.
