Stella SR sits half-sunk into the ceiling, a fibreglass hemisphere that leaves only its curved rim in view. We keep the source hidden; what remains is the behaviour of light itself. Rays fall onto the deliberately uneven interior and scatter, multiplying until the whole shallow dome reads as one glowing body.

Leaf, laid by hand

The inner surface is lined by hand with coloured leaf — gold, silver or copper — pressed over irregular contours, so no two hemispheres reflect alike. Outside, a matt black finish keeps the form quiet against the plaster; inside, a small steel spoon cradles the LED board, warm at 2700K. Metal answers light. Light remembers the hand.
