Stella 05
Stella 05 is a quarter of a sphere held flat against the wall. We work the aluminium face by hand and leave it irregular on purpose: small rises and hollows that answer the light at different angles, so one source reads as many. The interior is lined with leaf — gold, silver or copper — laid piece by piece. The exterior stays white and quiet against plaster, stone or dark timber.
The source kept apart
We set the light away from the glowing body, in a small steel spoon holder, so the eye reads the curve rather than the fitting. A single 3.2W LED board runs at 24V and returns 430 lumens at 2700K, CRI 80; the beam strikes the leaf and comes back indirect, spreading warm across the whole form. A Triac-dimmable driver lets it settle as low as the evening asks.
Three finishes leave our workshop — silver, gold, copper — each made to order, no two quite alike. Light needs a body before it becomes form.
