Presto!
A ring that carries the light
Presto! starts as one slender circle of brass, drawn thin enough to read as weightless in the room. We hang it level from a blue cable so the light travels straight down, onto the table or the floor beneath. Small LED points sit spaced along the rim; each casts its own pool, and together they merge into a single warm field instead of a row of separate sources. Two diameters — 50 cm and 85 cm — let the same gesture settle over a side table or a long dining surface.
The ring is formed by hand in our workshop. Brass is bent and joined, finished with black details at the joints and set against a white ceiling base. Nothing carries bulk, so every visible part is working: the wire holds, the metal conducts, the points emit. Slenderness follows function, and the volume we get is made of light.
Form reduced until only light remains.
