Pleat 70 takes its name from the folded, almost textile character of its shade. Hand-torn fibreglass is arranged in soft pleats around a slender metal structure, and the light from a single COB LED washes across those folds before it ever reaches the room. What arrives is indirect and gentle: a warm 2700K glow that ripples over the ceiling, while the frayed edges draw fine, uneven shadows on the wall. It sits as happily overhead as it does low on a wall.

Made by hand

Each shade is formed one at a time. Our artisans cut, tear and layer sheets of fibreglass until the material begins to behave like cloth — translucent, irregular, alive. The finished diffuser rests in a metal frame offered in gold or silver, a calm, precise counterpoint to its organic roughness. No two are ever quite the same.

Light is the real material here. Form only gives it a path.
