Pleat 64
Pleat 64 stands on a thin rod and carries its shade like a folded paper lantern. Three light sources sit inside the pleats, so the glow never spills evenly: it travels along each fold, brightening the crests and leaving the valleys in half shadow. What reaches the wall behind is a fringe of light, jagged and soft at once, wider than the lamp itself.
Made by hand, one fold at a time
The shade is fibreglass, varnished natural or white, cut and pleated in our workshop so no two lamps crease quite the same way. Below it runs an untreated brass rod that ages with the room, or a nickel-plated base and rod for a cooler line; the black varnished version reads almost as a drawing in space. A dimmer sits on the black cable, and its foot switch remembers the last level you chose.
Light asks only for a form to pass through. We give it folds.
