Oculus sits on the table like a quiet observer. Behind its steel mask, a single disc of direct light waits to be aimed — toward a page, a pair of working hands, the small hours of the evening. The slender flexible arm bends and holds, so light follows the gesture.

Made to be kept

We created Oculus in the spirit of our Heirloom Objects: pieces made for the pleasure of the making itself, meant for daily use and long keeping. A nickel-plated metal base gives it weight and stillness, while brass details warm the cool grey of the nickel structure and flex. Every joint is finished by hand in our workshop.

A small object can hold a lot of time. Switch it on; the light stays.
