Nacre Mini
Light caught in a fringe
Nacre Mini is the smallest table lamp in our PostCrissi collection, and one of the most talkative. Its shade is a disc of fibreglass, frayed at the rim so the edge keeps a ragged, almost organic line. Two low-power LEDs sit behind it and send light both ways: a soft pool downward onto the table, a wider halo outward, where the fringed rim breaks the beam into a crowd of thin shadows on the wall.
The base and structure are nickel-plated metal, finished in our workshop, and the shade comes in natural, white, silver or gold. A blue cord runs to a dimmer you work by hand; it holds the last level you set. Every shade is finished one at a time, so no two fringes fall quite the same way.
A small object, casting a large shadow. That is the whole idea.
