Moonlit W
A disc of golden warmth
Moonlit W grew out of a question we kept returning to: what colour is warmth? Our answer rests on the wall as a small metal disc, lined by hand with gold, silver or copper leaf. The LED board hides behind it, so light never meets the eye directly — it strikes the leaf first, turns golden, and drifts back into the room as a soft halo.
Each disc is shaped and leafed in our workshop, then mounted on a black metal base with a copper rod and a brass flexible arm, so the glow can be aimed exactly where it is wanted. The 2700K board runs at 350mA on a constant-current driver and renders colour at CRI 85 — the honest warmth of fire and late sun, held close to the wall.
Light learns its colour from what it touches.
