Marigold T was born from a long look at the colour of light — the gold of a low sun, the glow of a dying fire. Warmth like this is felt before it is seen. We gave it form: a waxed rough iron base, a slender flexible arm, and one aluminium disc that turns light softly back into the room.

The leaf does the speaking

The thirty-centimetre disc is lined by hand with metal leaf in gold, silver or copper. A recessed GU4 LED burns at 2700K behind it, and what returns is indirect light — warm, gently refracted, pooling on the wall. The iron base is waxed by hand; the flex comes in brass or nickel to echo the leaf. No two discs glow quite the same way.

Base, arm, disc. Almost nothing — and the light does the rest.
