Lux Rod V
A line, drawn in light
Lux Rod V is a single vertical stroke on the wall. Six LED points run inside a slender metal rod, held so close to the surface that the fixture itself all but disappears; what you see is a column of warm 2700K light, quiet and even from end to end. Because the source is never met directly by the eye, the rod suits a corridor, a stairwell or the wall beside a bed, where glare would be unwelcome. On a Triac dimmer it falls to a night-time glow without losing its warmth.
We make each rod in our own workshop, from solid metal, finished by hand in nickel, satin gold or black. The base is small enough to vanish against plaster, and every surface is sanded and coated until the joint is gone. We work slowly, one piece at a time, because the essence of this lamp is what you cannot see.
Objects should step back. The light remains.
