A line drawn in light

Lumen Sail S2 hangs two slender, curved discs in tandem, each wrapped around an ultra-flat LED module that releases its light indirectly toward the ceiling. There is no glare — the glow travels upward first and softens before it returns to the room. The silhouette reads as one continuous arc: a line drawn with a single, precise movement of the hand.

We shape each shade from fibreglass and set it against aluminium discs, metal rods and bases, finished by hand: black with gold leaf or copper leaf, or a quiet white with satin, white-varnished or gilded details. The profiles stay thin, almost two-dimensional, so the lamp floats as a suspended curve rather than an object of weight.
