Juno
Juno began with a single request: one point of light above a long table, nothing visible between the light and the wood. We distilled the pendant down to its barest elements — an ultra-thin wire sheathed in blue fabric descends from a flush ceiling mount and ends in a small nickel-plated copper curl, cradling a removable glass lens. The beam falls direct and low, a quiet pool exactly where the table gathers.
Reduced to essence
Everything we could take away, we took away. What remains is the cable itself — thread-thin, wrapped in blue textile, a signature detail we have since carried into other designs. Each curl is formed and finished by hand in our workshop, and the glass lens lifts free in a moment, whether for cleaning or for a sharper, unfiltered beam.
Juno recesses into plasterboard ceilings and hangs from a nickel ceiling jack or a steel plate with tensioner. A single warm watt of light, and the table feels complete. Less, until only light remains.
