Globe BE F
Globe BE F rises from a circular base as one slender rod. Across that rod sits a disc that seems to hold itself, with nothing visibly attaching it — and because the disc hides the source, all we see is a flat, even glow at waist height. There is no cable. The lamp can be lifted and carried through a room, set beside an armchair or out on a terrace step, and the light simply goes along.
Three intensities, one touch
A touch on the metal answers: the first touch switches it on, the following ones move through three levels of brightness, from a full pool for reading down to a low amber that only marks the corner of a room. A lithium-ion cell inside the base recharges over USB, so the lamp is ready again after a few hours at the wall. We offer two finishes — a vintage brass base and ring with a matching brass rod, or a black base and ring that leaves the polished rod to carry every reflection. Each one is turned, brushed and assembled by hand in our workshop.
Portable light usually gives something away. Here the form stays exactly as we drew it, whether the lamp stands in a hallway or travels out to the garden. Light, carried.
