Crater
Crater begins as a simple cone, drawn away from the wall. Two light sources live inside it, each on its own switch. Turned upward, a hidden COB LED washes the gold-lined interior; the light gathers there, turns warm, and spills back onto the wall as a soft halo. Turned downward, a small G4 bulb rests at the open rim and holds a single quiet point of light, like a candle kept in a crater.
Two surfaces, one gesture
The outer skin is painted by hand, stroke over stroke in a deep blue that stays deliberately uneven, so the surface carries texture and depth instead of a flat, printed colour. Inside, gold-coloured leaf is laid sheet by sheet against the metal. Its edges are not smoothed away. They catch the light at slightly different angles, and that is where the glow comes from.
We make each cone one at a time, and no two come out the same. The hand shows. That is the point.
